Edwin W. Estes Jr., Esq.

Estes is a noted lecturer, adjunct professor, and author on real property and real estate brokerage issues since 1988. Estes is currently a professor and real estate program coordinator at Mt. San Antonio College, where he teaches courses about such topics as real estate principles, practice, finance, investments, and Tort Law. His most recent authorship is California Real Estate Principles, 9th Ed., Cengage Publishing, 2010.

He has been a licensed real estate broker since 1984 (salesperson license – 1976), active in real estate consulting, development, investment, and residential brokerage management. Estes has been awarded the following designations: ABRM, ABR, CCIM, CRB, e-PRO, GRI, and SRES. He also received the Lifetime Teaching Credential from California Community College in both Real Estate and Law.

Additionally, Estes has been an Attorney at Law since 1983 (BV Rated, Martindale Hubbell). His practice has emphasized general business, real property, and land use law, with particular attention directed to risk management administration and alternative dispute resolution.

 

Casey Chapman

Casey has practiced law in Bismarck since 1977 and is a shareholder in Chapman & Chapman, P.C. Casey emphasizes estate planning, business planning, and real estate in his law practice. After undergraduate studies at Bismarck State College and North Dakota State University, Casey received his law degree from the University of North Dakota. Casey taught business law courses for the University of Mary from 1990 to 2000, and has taught business law for Dickinson State University since 2001. Casey and his wife Linda have two children, Marc and Christopher, and one granddaughter. In his spare time, Casey is a lay preacher at his church, and enjoys running, biking and cross country skiing

 

John T. Altman

John is the Founder & President of "The RE Coaching Company" which focuses on the training and coaching in San Diego County of both experienced & newer residential real estate agents, as well as brokers/managers with the "Coaching Company`s" primary training center located in central San Diego`s Mission Valley.

In addition to being a Licensed Broker with over 30 years of real estate experience and the Owner of JT Altman & Associates, a residential real estate company. Additionally, he is one of the most highly credential broker or agents in all of California having obtained:

  • both the CRB & CRS designations,
  • the SRES designation for Seniors & CFS (Certified Financial Specialist),
  • the SRS designation for sellers, ABR designation for buyers and is a GRI.

In addition, he has obtained the coveted CCIM designation which has been conferred on fewer that 10,000 agents in the entire United States and Canada since it’s establishment over 35 years ago.

He is presently a National Certified Instructor for the SRS Council and is a Senior Instructor at the San Diego Association of Realtors® in the areas of Ethics and Agency. Further, he is past Chairperson of SDAR`s Membership Committee and serves on SDAR`s Professional Standards Executive Committee.

John is the prior host of “The Real Estate Coach” program on 1170AM / KCBQ, sponsored, among other, in part by the San Diego Association of Realtors.

 

Susan Plage

Susan has been a quick study in real estate. Since her licensing in 1996, she has achieved recognition as a top-producing agent and has been President of the Boulder Area REALTOR Association (2002). Susan is a contributing writer for various real estate publications. Susan’s previous experience as a university-level career counselor, as well as her work as a marketing and research director for two different major media companies, enables her to bring a wealth of knowledge to the classroom.

William "Fraser" Sparkman CRS, CDEI, RECS, ARPS

William has been actively involved in the real estate industry for more than 30 years.   Fraser brings a wealth of practical experience and expertise from many facets of the business including that of a sales professional, managing and designated broker, developer, educator and expert witness.  Fraser has been an active member of the National Association of REALTORS® with service and outstanding achievement on the state and local level with the Montgomery Association of REALTORS®/MLS, Alabama Association of REALTORS®, Haywood County (N.C.) Board of REALTORS®, Western North Carolina MLS, North Carolina Association of REALTORS® and Triad  (S.C.) Association of REALTORS®. 

 

Christopher Ashe

Chris has been actively involved in the real estate industry for over 30 years as a salesperson, broker, manager and educator with both large and small companies starting several successful real estate offices from scratch. He has earned professional designations as an ABR, CRB, GRI and is a Professional Services Certified Specialist. In 2001 the Connecticut Association of REALTORS® elected him Educator of the Year. He is certified as an instructor for REALTOR®’s Buyer Agent Council and the Women’s Council of REALTORS®. Chris has also served local and state REALTOR®  organizations being elected President of both the New Milford Board of REALTORS®  and MLS, was a Vice President of the Connecticut Association of REALTORS®  and was President of the Litchfield Board of REALTORS®  and Chairman of Member Services for the state Association in 2003. He is the 2010 Chairperson of the Legislative Committee and on the Executive committee in 2010. 

Chris and his wife, Rev. Bonny Gilbert Ashe, are national Peace Workers for the Association of Unity Churches and Chris is trained as a mediator by the National Association of REALTORS® and the Lombard Mennonite Peace Institute and has completed a two-year program with the Coaches Training Institute. He travels around the country assisting businesses and churches in conflict to resolve and grow from their difficulties


As a coach, educator and peace worker Chris is dedicated to helping people make their dreams come true. Kristi Randall

Kristi is a native of Oklahoma.  She has been a Realtor since 2000 and teaching licensees since 2003.  Though she started as an associate and became a broker her passion lies in the educational world of the real estate profession.  Kristi`s belief that with proper education associates help their clients, themselves and their communities is fundamental to her teaching style and course materials.

Bruce Aydt

Bruce is a REALTOR®, attorney and educator from St. Louis, Missouri.  He has been involved in the management of real estate brokerages for more than 30 years, currently as Senior Vice-President and General Counsel of Prudential Alliance, REALTORS®.

Active in all levels of REALTOR® organizations, Bruce has served as President of both the Missouri Association of REALTORS® and the St. Louis Association of REALTORS®.  For the National Association of REALTORS®, Bruce has chaired the Professional Standards Committee, Legal Action Committee and State Leadership Forum.  He was named REALTOR® of the Year by both his local and state associations.  He is a nationally recognized educator on real estate issues and is the monthly columnist on ethics issues for REALTOR® Magazine.  He has been named Educator of the Year by both the National Association of REALTORS® and the Missouri Association of REALTORS®.  He lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife, Lisa and has two grown children, Erin and Jamie.

 

James J. Tsighis (J.T.)

J.T. has been a real estate industry leader for more than 30 years holding many professional designations, including GRI, CRS, CRB, ABR, e-PRO, and AAR’s Master of Real Estate (MRE) and Certified Risk Management Specialist (rCRMS). J.T. brings a strong level of experience and background that includes working in all capacities of the industry including real estate Salesperson, Broker, Branch Manager and Entrepreneur/Business Owner. J.T. have been actively involved in both his local REALTOR® Association in Tucson (TAR), the Arizona Association of REALTORS® (AAR) as well as the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) where he has been awarded numerous honors and distinctions. As a Director for NAR, J.T. was the Vice Chairman of the Risk Management Committee working hand in hand with industry leaders to help educate the profession on the many way to mitigate and manage risk within today’s challenging marketplace.

 

K. Michelle Lind, Esq.

K. Michelle Lind is General Counsel/Assistant CEO to the Arizona Association of REALTORS® (AAR). She serves as the primary legal advisor to the association. Michelle oversees AAR’s Risk Management Committee, which includes professional standards administration for twenty of the state’s local REALTOR® associations, and the development of standard real estate forms.

Michelle has served on numerous Arizona Department of Real Estate committees, as Chair and Journal Editor for the Arizona State Bar Real Property Section Executive Council and on the Central/Northern Arizona Better Business Bureau Arizona Mortgage Advisory Council. Michelle is a guest lecturer for the College of Business MBA Real Estate Strategies class and has also served as an adjunct professor at ASU College of Law. She is a frequent speaker on real estate issues on topics such as contracts, disclosure, risk management, short sales and other legal issues. She is the author of Arizona Real Estate: A Professional’s Guide to Law & Practice and a regular contributor to the Arizona REALTOR® and the Arizona Journal of Real Estate & Business.

 

Amy Chorew

Amy is a national real estate trainer highly experienced at helping managers and agents maximize the infinite opportunities that technology offers them.  Amy brings her talents to The CE Shop’s online curriculum sharing her knowledge of the industry, progressive technology outlook and risk management skills.  Amy’s unique ability to translate complex topics into easy to understand language has made her a consistently top-rated trainer throughout the country.

Lynnell Morgan

With over 18 years real estate experience in both California and Washington, Ms. Morgan is The CE Shop’s Real Estate Advisor for Washington State. Ms. Morgan was the managing broker for many firms including RE/MAX and several real estate start-up companies including Redfin. Ms. Morgan’s professional education includes a degree in Business Management from the University of Oregon. Ms. Morgan was also one of the first agents to implement the concept of buyer representation (buyer’s agency) in Washington State.

Susan Daly

Susan has been active in residential real estate in Northern Virginia since early 1982. She is currently an associate broker with RE/MAX 100 where she serves as the Director of Education. Susan has been teaching real estate classes for over 20 years for the City of Alexandria Public Schools, Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She is also a certified Ethics and "At Home with Diversity" instructor and has successfully completed mediation training through Institute of Conflict and Resolution at George Mason University. She volunteered as a chaplain at INOVA Alexandria Hospital for seven years and is a member of Soroptomist International. Susan currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia.

Jennifer Allan

Jennifer is a former top producing real estate broker, a published author, a speaker and a trainer. She has written five books about the business of selling real estate, including her flagship book: Sell with Soul: Creating an Extraordinary Career in Real Estate without Losing Your Friends, Your Principles or Your Self-Respect.

Jennifer sold real estate successfully for twelve years in Denver, Colorado. Colleen McAllister

Colleen brings more than 26 years of experience as a top producing real estate broker and brokerage firm owner/manager. Colleen has an undergraduate degree in English with a background in education and has led professional instruction at all levels.

Kenneth J. Horner Jr.

Ken is co-founder and CFO of The CE Shop, Inc..  Ken’s experience as an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant bring invaluable resources to our curriculum and students. Ken practiced law for seven years in North Dakota, where his practice focused primarily on providing legal advice regarding real estate matters. Further, while practicing law, he was the course instructor for various continuing education courses for the North Dakota State Bar Association.

Michael McAllister

Michael’s real estate career began the summer after his freshman year of undergraduate studies with a desire to join the family real estate ventures. As an active investor, educator and broker Michael was instrumental in the building of several Internet technology businesses prior to co-founding The CE Shop, Inc. where he has been able to combine his love of real estate, education and technology. Michael’s entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm are what drive the growth of the business.

Todd Tritsch

Todd has been a mortgage and real estate educator for 17 years. He has a passion for assisting professionals to increase their talents and skills in order to achieve results where they matter most – satisfied clients and increased sales. Sheila Bell, ABR, CRB, CRS, e-PRO, GRI, SRS

Sheila is the owner of Sheila Bell Seminars (“SBS”) and has served for more than 20 years in the real estate business. Sheila has been licensed in five states throughout the Midwest and Southern United States. Sheila has enjoyed a successful real estate career that included direct sales and office management in a large firm environment.  Sheila continued to become the Director of Training/Professional Development for two large independent firms. Kathie Zahorik

Kathie has been a top producing broker for more than 25 years. Kathie’s experience as a real estate licensee and appraiser bring a valuable perspective to the development of our curriculum and assist with keeping content most relevant to our students. Kathy Howe

Kathy has been serving the real estate community as an educator, broker and business owner for the last 20 years. Licensed in both Arizona and Hawaii, Kathy brings a diverse background to The CE Shop. With experience in working with clients of all backgrounds and geographic areas, Kathy adds great value to many organizations with which she serves. These organizations include her local Sedona and Phoenix and state Associations, AZ Department of Real Estate Advisory Board, Real Estate Educators Association (REEA), Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA).

Cricket Arens

Cricket’s real estate career began in 1998 as a California real estate licensee, and then in 1999 she earned her Nevada real estate license and holds the ABR and GRI Designations. Cricket has been instructing since 1986 and is a REBAC National ABR instructor, a WCR National Instructor, has completed the Instructor Training Institute (ITI) program and has received REALTOR of the month from GLVAR (Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS®)

Cricket is a Captain with the United States Air Force Auxiliary and is a Moral Leadership Officer. She has taught classes to the Deaf, Adults, Children, Firefighters, Real Estate agents, search and rescue personnel and is currently a company trainer at Liberty Realty Inc. Cricket is the co-author of many real estate classes approved by the Nevada Real Estate Division.

JC Arens

JC entered the real estate industry in 1988. JC was a Broker-Owner of his own real estate company in California where he still maintains his broker’s license but has been living, practicing and teaching in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1998.

JC has written many real estate courses, is a company trainer at Liberty Realty Inc., and holds the ABR and GRI designations. He is a REBAC National ABR instructor, a National WCR instructor, has completed the Instructor Training Institute (ITI) program and has received REALTOR of the month from GLVAR (Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS®). 

JC has been active on many committees including past chairman of GLVAR Equal Housing & Cultural Diversity Committee, is a past State Director at NVAR (Nevada Association of REALTORS®), and GLVAR respectively.

JC is Vietnam Veteran, a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Auxiliary, has been a licensed pilot since the 1960`s and is active in the aviation community as an Aviation Safety Counselor. JC received the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 2005 Aviation Safety Counselor award of the year from the Las Vegas Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) for his presentations of "Wings" safety seminars along with many other activities to both the general aviation community and USAF Auxiliary.

Bes Stewart

A relative newcomer to the Real Estate industry, Bes Stewart has almost thirty years of Computer and Web Based Training Development experience. Working as a team with her husband Rich, Bes joined Keller Williams® Realty in Richmond VA in 2006. Bes loves writing and developing real estate and technology courses, recognizing that education is the foundation for a successful business. True to her word, Bes received her ABR designation in her first year in the Real Estate business.
