This REQUIRED course was developed in conjunction with TREC, the Real Estate Center at Texas A & M University and The CE Shop, Inc.  This course covers all of the required legal updates for the 2008-09 renewal cycle and is designed to ensure that licensees have a strong understanding of the current legal issues and are able to avoid violations in their real estate practice.  Topics covered include regulatory and legislative updates,news briefs specific to RESPA and rule P-53, builders and residential construction and mold.  The course includes a section on signatures, records and completing forms, as well an entire unit dedicated to recent TREC cases.  The course concludes with discussion of mortgage fraud and the updates to many familiar forms.
